Bachelor’s degree in Library Science with honors from the Philosophy and Literature College of UNAM [National Autonomous University of Mexico], with a thesis entitled: “La colección de programas de mano de la Biblioteca de las Artes: su importancia en la investigación en el Centro Nacional de Investigación, Documentación e Información Teatral Rodolfo Usigli“ [“The Collection Of Handbills From The Library Of Arts: Its Importance In Researching At The Rodolfo Usigli National Theater Research, Documentation and Information Center”], which won a special mention at the Premio Colegio Nacional de Bibliotecarios 2006 [Award of the National College of Librarians].

She served as Deputy Director of Documentary Organization and Head of the Special Funds Department at the Library of the Arts, National Arts Centre, in both positions with appointment of Public Servant of Principal Career, where she managed the documentary collections of INBA [National Institute of Fine Arts] that belongs to the National Research Centers of Theatre, Visual Arts, Music and Dance. She collaborated in the curatorship and museology of several documentary exhibitions, among which are: “10 años del CENART, fondos documentales en la Biblioteca de las Artes: Enríquez, Helguera, Mata, Morales, Ocampo, Usigli” [“10 Years of CENART (National Arts Center, for its acronym in Spanish), Documentary Collections at the Library of Arts: Enríquez, Helguera, Mata, Morales Ocampo, Usigli”] and “Luis Sandi: reflejos sonoros de una vida” [“Luis Sandi: A Life’s Sound Reflections”]. She took over a program to encourage reading focused on the elderly, and contributed writing articles for diffusing the collections in the Bulletin of the Library of Arts.

Among the courses in which she has developed her professional training, may be highlighted those relating to Bookbinding, Museum Studies, Library Consortia, Preservation and Conservation of Photographs, Copyright, Management of Electronic Resources, Career Professional Service, Federal Public Administration in Mexico, Management Skills, Teamwork, Results Orientation, Neuro-linguistic Programming, Assertive Communication, Quality Service, Mexican Muralists. She also studied the seminar “Medidas de conservación y mantenimiento de materiales documentales” [“Conservation and Maintenance Measures for Documentary Materials”, and the course “Implantación de un sistema de gestión documental informatizado (SGDI) en centros de información: alta dirección” [“Implementation of a Computerized System of Document Management (SGDI, for its acronym in Spanish) at the Research Centers: Senior Management”], both of them offered by the Fundación Ciencias de la Documentación de España [Foundation of Documentation Sciences of Spain].

She has offered lectures on artistic documentation, specifically about theatre documentation, subject in which she specializes. At CITRU she is responsible of some preserving and cataloging processes, mainly of the funds "Ludwik Margules" and “La carpa en México” [“Marquee Theatre in Mexico”]. Together with Julieta Rivas, she teaches the workshop “Manejo de la documentación artística y su uso en la investigación” [“Management of artistic documentation and its use in research", which has been given at the Tijuana Cultural Center, the Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa [Autonomous University of Sinaloa], the Instituto Zacatecano de Cultura “Ramón López Velarde” [Zacatecas Institute of Culture "Ramon Lopez Velarde], the Instituto Potosino de Bellas Artes [Potosino Institute of Fine Arts] and in Contigo America – Institución teatral independiente A.C. [Independent Theatre Institution]. She is responsible of giving an inductive class on CITRU and the Library of Arts to all the students of the degree in Theater from different universities of the country, that includes an exhibition of its collections and its characteristics. She also offers them a lesson about the logbooks of theatre rehearsals of the Ludwik Margules Fund.
